About Me

I'm a twenty-one year old girl from New Zealand. At the moment I'm taking a break from my studies and will be working in the Netherlands as an Au Pair until August 2017. I'm learning Dutch and will hopefully be fluent by the end of my working contract. From September until October I'm hoping to travel around Europe before I go back to university. I really enjoy learning languages and hope to go back to study English and linguistics, Chinese and Spanish with the end goal of becoming a teacher! Previously I was working as a teacher aide at a primary school for children with special needs, whilst studying Psychology and Neuroscience.

I come from a relatively small town, where a lot of people never really leave so I am trying to experience as much as I can. So far I have met so many interesting people that have really motivated me to reevaluate different aspects of my life, and I hope to meet and make friends all over the world.

I enjoy reading, writing, late night conversations, going to concerts (been to over 25 in the last couple of years including Fuji Rock Festival, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, ACDC, John Mayer, Con Brio and Megadeth)
