About Me

SIBERIA, LAKE BAIKAL and the TRANS-SIBERIAN EXPRESS
ABOUT ME
I am a Master Student in International Development in Paris. I used to work in Estonia on the legacies of Communism and the USSR, however I was 'asked to leave' (not so nicely) by their government. After that I went to climb Mount Everest when the earthquake struck, I spent a few months after that raising materials and aid for three Nepalese villages in the Gorkha region, and in August I moved to Paris where I am doing my Masters!!! During my Bachelors years I studied the Soviet Union and Russian history/literature.
PHILOSOPHY
Be happy, you cannot make others happy without yourself being happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen the Dalai Lama, met amazing people at seminars and forums, been to warzones and conflict areas and survive. Present in Taksim when the police started shelling us with smoke canisters and water canons.
Got deported, didn't deter me so I went to climb Mount Everest.
