My name is Thanasis and i am 27 years old.
I' ve studied cinema and i am working as an
independent filmmaker focused on documentaries.
I work as a film producer too in an independent
film company based in Athens.
I love to travel, meet people and exploring the
diversity of human condition!

I currently live in Athens trying to find a way
to live, work, travel and doing thinks that i like.

I enjoy a lot, long walks with friends, nice dinners,
nights with drinks, and going to the movies!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a good way to get to know
people from around the world and it makes traveling much
more interesting.

Interests

As like my profession i love watching movies, of all kinds!
Traveling is my passion too but unfortunately time and money can
always be a problem.
My friends say that i am an excellent cook, and usually every
Sunday night i invite people to my house for food and wine.
I usually cook traditional greek and italian cuisine, and the past
months i practiced a lot in cooking!
I also play the piano (focused on jazz piano) and the traditional
greek gaida.

I really like Miles Dave, John Coltrane, Tinariwen, Sixto Rodriguez Chinese Man , Django Reinhardt, Hocus Pocus, Saian Supa Crew, IAM and many more of course!

All kinds o f movies. Big fun of Roy Andersson and Aki Kaurismaki.
And after film school and watching lots of films and styles I think the following directors haven't disapointed me through the years: Dardenne Brothers, Ken Loach, Jim Jarmusch, Fatih Akin, Michael Haneke, Stanley Kubrick, Theo Angelopoulos, Lars Fon Trier and many more of course.

I love russian literature!
I am not such a book freak ,but usually before
i sleep i like to read something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cannot thing of one big thing.
The small things is what amaze me most!
I suppose things that I have accomplished with friends have the most valuable sense.
