ABOUT ME

Always eager to see/hear something I haven't seen/heard before as I believe that the longest conversation possible between two people who agree on EVERYTHING is limited to: "Yeah? Yeah." And this does not quite cut it with someone sporting a double digit IQ, let alone an open mind, a friendly, sociable disposition, a sense of adventure and an affinity for beverages with high alcohol content.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that all you need in order to have a happy life is patience and calm. Otherwise, you need to poses each and every one of all the other virtues known to man (and, oh boy, are they plenty...).
Over the years I have grown to become reasonably patient, yet there are occasions (e.g. my home team, Olympiacos, losing some match by suffering a goal at the 90th minute+) when my calm kind of lets me down. There is still room for improvement (and by that I don't mean supporting some other team or giving up football altogether, OK?).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything and everything by Woody Allen, although my favorite movie of all times is "Apocalypse Now" by Francis Ford Coppola.
Music: Classic rock is a sure favorite, but so is also dance music, with a preference to House and PsyTrance (weird combination, innit? Well, blame it on my London years...).
Books: I don't know how to read! It's been my new year's resolution for the last decade. That and quitting smoking.
Bookies in London started a bet on that years ago, and the odds do not look promising... :)
