Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend told me there's a friend of hers who traveled South Korean in 11 days with USD 400 . In addition, on September 2012, there's an article about a Vietnamese girl traveled 25 countries with USD 700. Sure they're Couchsufer. I found the monetary impact of CS impressive at first, but when the first surfer actually came and stayed, the experience of opening yourself to and getting back so many things from total strangers was just so great that I couldn't stop CS.
