ABOUT ME

let's see ... I'm 47, was married for 20 years but now I have my own space and life. Yes!
Work as a caregiver out in the field, which basically means that I go into peoples homes every day to help them.
Have 4 children who are out in the world testing their wings.
I guess you could say that I'm very connected to my natural enviroment. If my world is right then I am too.
I'm casual, don't stand on ceremony and are happiest when I'm outdoors with my toes in the dirt and the sun on back. I love seeing the details of our world, those small magical moments that everyone is just too busy to notice.

PHILOSOPHY

What goes around, comes around.
... just wish it would do it faster sometimes!
I think for me, honesty is the most important thing anyone can bring to a relationship/friendship. Honesty and open mindedness.
And to laugh - people need to laugh more.

ahh books ... if it's written I'll read it, even if it's just the back of the Weet-Bix box or the calendar on the loo door. Mostly Historical, fact and fiction.
Music taste is eclectic, all forms have something to offer and there is sure to be a piece to fit my mood of the moment. Into Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Smashing Pumpkins, REM and Patti Smith at the moment ... hmmm, wonder what that says about me? :-s lol
Movies, don't watch much t.v, would rather be outside, have started to put together a collection of NZ films and just now realised that I don't have any of the LOTR movies! Smack on the hand for that omission.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

okay now that has to be seeing my granchildren being born. Such a miracle of perfection.

skills ... like most kiwis, i have ingenuity when it comes to solving problems/challenges, nothing a piece of number 8 wire can't fix!
As a caregiver I have first aid, CPR qualifications - please don't die on my watch! =D
And all the skills and knowledge acquired in raising 4 children.
