Aloha, thanks for reading! I have recently changed to not accepting guests until I have a space built. Unfortunately my space is only good for camping currently and none of the requests I got were to camp. I hope to be able to accept guests in 2021 but that will depend on construction progress.
I am from the Big Island of Hawaii and have 3 pets at home, 2 dogs and a parrot. I am the Executive Director of the HVCA, a nonprofit organization that works to reduce the frequency of veteran and PTSD related suicide; I also speak on PTSD internationally. I am excited to carve out a brighter future for the people and environment of my island home through the catalyst of legislative change and philanthropic service.
I travel most of the time; I have been blessed with the chance to see the world, experience new cultures and meet people from far away lands. I am thankful every day for the opportunity and I am grateful you are considering being a part of that journey.

I am on CouchSurfing because I travel so much. I discovered it is horrible to travel to hotels for me because I don't want to be insulated from the new cultures and local people. I want to experience the world, not just move around on it.
