About Me
Hey there, fellow adventurers! I'm Matthew Osorio, your friendly neighborhood online English as a Second Language teacher. By day, I teach people from Saudi Arabia to Brazil – I've got the teaching bug. If you'd like I can also help you or your friends with some free lessons, perhaps as we walk through your city exploring its unique culture.
I'm from sunny Miami, FL, and I've got an insatiable craving for international cuisines. From savoring mouthwatering ramen to feijoada (traditional Brazilian stew), I'm your go-to foodie. I also have a deep appreciation for any type of Latin music such as salsa, bachata, merengue, flamenco, and I could go on...but I think you get my point. Currently, I'm a beginner level in salsa, but I'm hoping to change that soon. When I'm not busy traveling, you can find me enjoying time with my family and friends around the dinner table.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I explore, I'm on a language-learning mission. I didn't grow up speaking Spanish, but that doesn't stop me – I'm diving in headfirst now, embracing the beauty of learning languages as an adult. And let me tell you, I've got a knack for soaking up cultures as I go. Every moment is a chance to create unforgettable memories. So, if you're looking for an interesting person to host while learning something new, let's connect!
