Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Participation is one of my life principles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted people in my home from around the globe, but currently, I am in the middle of a 6 month adventure traveling the US after Burning Man, trying to get a better sense of the country and it's people after merely studying them for years. I have slept on couches around the country, from Vermonth to Virginia to North Carolina to Florida to Nashville to Louisville to Denver to San Francisco to Portland, OR.

Interests

In my free time, I mostly cook food and hang out and listen to music.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite film is The Lion in Winter, followed closely by Kill Bill.
My favorite record (at the moment) is probably My Chemical Romance's Black Parade, with number 2 being Ike and Tina Turner's Greatest Hits.
My favorite books are a tie between Little House on the Prairie and Howard Zinn's The People's History of the United States.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Burning Man 3 times and am planning attending every year until I bore of it. I find the massive art and the people that come together to make it amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have run many types of businesses from a tech company to a housing nonprofit to the English Dept at an Ivy League University. I am skilled in the ways of Business management, plus I can cook a mean Curry.
