ABOUT ME

We are a young married couple, have been married for 5 years now. We are originally from Christchurch, NZ but moved to Wellington, NZ shortly after we were married. We are finally on our big Overseas and have travelled, through India, SE Asia and China over the past 4 months. We have now arrived to Europe!!
In NZ we both worked in the corporate world for different banks. Paul is involved in IT Procurement and I, Juanita, in Digital Media and marketing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I joined CS with the best of intentions a few years ago but we tended to have so much family come to stay there was barely free space to offer. Now that we are far from home we are in the other boat and are keen to get to know the CS community.

Music, Movies, and Books

Varied tastes - Paul likes reading non-fiction and I like a bit of everything. In terms of Music think Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Mumford & Sons, Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton... a bit of everything. We're not really into Horror movies and/or heavy metal music but we'd watch and listen to most anything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far, the To Sua Ocean Trench on Samoa's south-coast was a highlight for both of us. The water of the ocean filled swimming hole was so clear and the cliffs rise above you about 30m. It was pristine and amazing.
We've also managed to tick off many big wonders in the past few months - Taj Mahal, Angkor Wat, The Great Wall & Terracott army!
