I think that seeing and experiencing the many wonderful places, people, cultures and food the world has to offer is extremely important and in many ways the best education and life experience you can get!

Haven't hosted, surfed or attended an event in a few years. Hope to reconnect soon though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted in London.

I've met up with various people for drinks, dinner and even a concert in Sydney and London.

I've surfed couches in San Francisco, Berkeley, New York, Boston and Chicago.

I attended a CS meet up in New York, "Foodies" dinners in Sydney and San Francisco, and a house warming party, also in San Francisco.

Once I'm back home in Sydney and a bit more settled at some point I will be able to offer a couch.

If I'm not too busy I'm always open to meeting up for a drink or meal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Malawi for 6 months, doing development work, teaching about HIV/AIDS and nutrition, English and many other things. It was an incredibly eye opening and valuable experience for me, living and working with the people and being immersed in the culture. It wasn't always easy or great, but the single most amazing and mentally exhausting life experience I've had for sure. I could discuss the reality of the situation for hours.
