ABOUT ME

Well.
I am pretty cool. If I say so myself. At least my mum tells me I am cool! And mums know best. Therefore, I must be cool.

I am a 25 year old male. I am about to leave my flat and move into a one bedroom apartment in the city as I only have three months left in NZ. I am going to go on a roadtrip across the USA with three friends before trying to find a job in Edinburgh.

I am really just a normal guy... like to have a beer, play sports and talk smack!

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live my life? I dunno. Trying to figure that out. If anyone has the answer let me know.

I just want to continually challenge myself and become the best I can be. Not too obsessed with money although winning the lotto would be nice.

My general rule is.... as long as you are not hurting anyone else just do whatever makes you happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only have three months left in NZ. But I am keen to have some people stay. I will be living in an apartment in Auckland CBD from early Feb so it's a handy location.

Especially keen from people from the states and Edinburgh as I will be traveling there soon, but all are welcome.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a couch surfing virgin! It's all very new but exciting to me. But I am definitely keen to get involved as traveling isn't about the free little shampoo bottles at the hotels, it's about the people you meet on the way!

Sports - pretty much any and all (except Netball)

Philosophy/Eastern religion (kind of, but I am a bit of a noob)
Food. Mmmmm I love food. But I am not fussy. I could live on toast with peanut and cold milo... The milo is separate because putting milo on toast would just be weird. One of my great goals in life is to try a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Maybe today will be the day? Stay tuned for updates.

Movies - I struggle to commit to movies. I am a real movie noob. I watch cloudy with a chance of meatballs the other day though. That ruled! Refer to my earlier affection for food. I am getting hungry just writing this! Be right back, gonna get some toast.

Ok music. Well anything really. At the moment I am digging brand new, republic of wolves, alexisonfire, Janelle Monae, Sufjan stevens and the new decemberists album.

Going to a Orlando Magic game in Florida when I was 10 and watching Shaq play was awesome (I was obsessed with basketball at the time!)
Going to the Australian open. Going to the Sydney Olympics.
Going to mark Knolfer concert.
New years at full moon party.
Going to Barcelona vs Espanyol and then spending the night sleeping in the ground of a 13th century cathedral was pretty fun.
Italy - just in general.

I also watch quite a few documentaries. Like this morning I watched one on Ralph Nader. It was bad ass.
