I’m a smiling American with loads of joie de vivre. My motto: Smile often. Experience everything. Never follow. Share stories!

I’m fueled by music, people, travel, and creativity. My first couchsurfing-style experience was as an 11-year old on a trip the Bahamas with my family. I spent several days with a local family on a small farm on the island and will never forget it. I seek this type of visceral travel experience everywhere I visit.

One of the most memorable Couchsurfing experiences was participating in the inaugural Couchsurfing Camp at Burning Man in 2007. It’s rather cliche to say it, but that trip changed my life in the best way—and I’m thrilled CS was a key part of that experience.

I’m a native Californian (San Francisco) though currently based in New York, where I live with my wife and twin boys (age 5). I’m a marketer for a global payments firm, as well as a commercial natural light photographer.

Through the years, I'm grateful to have met some lovely fellow Couchsurfers in America, Australia, India, and more.
