I’m currently travelling the world. I tried that once before, I started in February 2020, but I didn’t get very far … after 6 weeks all the borders closed and I had to go back home.

Second time’s the charm! I started off in February 2023 with 6 weeks of Europe, followed by 6 months in South East Asia and 1,5 years in Aotearoa. Just arrived in Australia for my final working holiday.

When travelling I feel most comfortable when I’m surrounded by nature. I love hiking and finding those good viewpoints and I’m always on the look-out for the best sunset spots.

I enjoy meeting new people and having unexpected adventures together. I don’t like to plan ahead too much, because that would limit the possibility of those spontaneous moments.

When I’m alone, I like to read a good book (preferably from a place with a nice view) or to do some writing. Solo traveling often gets my mind racing a hundred miles per hour, so it helps to write down some of the thoughts and impressions.
