ABOUT ME

Life never gets boring. There is always so much to do, to discover, to learn, to understand, to try out.... time is never enough! That's why I started with Yoga - 90min of breathing, balancing, strengthening, and shutting up. So, I can actually sit still now! Moving is human. I am the happiest person on the road. And I am happy to change: from a music instrument maker, to a social worker, to a Tim Hortons baker, a librarian, a cook, a bartender, a student, a German to a Canadian (maybe :), a metalhead to a weird folk fan, from never sleeping in Berlin to fish eggs and sewing in the Northwest Territories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Looking to meet local people on my travels and opening my house for travellers has always been a big part of my life. The nights I slept in a hotel in all of my life, you can count on one hand. One of the best experiences was in a student residence in Irkutsk/Russia where I was just overwhelmed with the hospitality of the students. CouchSurfing in this format is pretty new to me, but it has already brought some great people in my life with amazing stories to tell.

Intereses

People and their countless views on what a good life means. Music. How to not die being out in the bush. Good stories, as in good conversations, books and films. Politics behind the scenes. Reducing consumption in daily life.
