About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just to be. It's harder than it sounds.
ABOUT ME
I'm learning more and more to live in the moment; none of us is guaranteed tomorrow, so I want to take advantage of everything today has to offer. I also love people and getting to know them at a deeper level, because I believe we're all expressions of the Lord and that He loves to show us who He is through others.
We all have something to teach, and we all have almost everything to learn.
PHILOSOPHY
"I focus my eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." ~ Paul
"You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me." ~ C.S. Lewis
"Be the change you wish to see in the world." ~ Ghandi
As for why I live my life, I used to try to live "for God." Then I realized that God doesn't want or need me to live for Him, since He's got everything covered and I usually don't have a clue, so I'm trying to step back and let Him live through me instead.
Interests
new experiences, getting to know people, good conversations, hot chai on cold days, reading good books and attempting to write half-way decent ones, everything about autumn, learning about different cultures/languages, randomly bursting into song, hiking and camping, community
