To expand my own community across borders, to see what makes successful communities, and to love my global neighbours.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in small town Vancouver Island. I moved to Vancouver to study engineering at the University of British Columbia, to become an expert in ROBOTS. As I grew more aware of the world around me, and learned more about globalization, politics, and economics, my interest shifted to the big issues that we (we being every person on this planet) have to face, in our life time. I dropped my specialization in robotics, and am learning all I can on environmental policy, and energy producation and usage.

I CRAVE knowledge, and love to learn. The day I realized that everyone, everyone, can teach me something of enormous value was a big day. I love meeting people, and learning from them. I feel ignorant most of the time, and in an ignorant state of mind I think I am most able to learn.

I know that the world needs change, and I feel personally responsible to exact as much change as I am able to. I'm still tryin to figure out in what capacity I can contribute to the changes that must take place.
