Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't travelled in the last year since hearing about couch surfing, but I often took up the offer of hospitality during my trips and those local stays were always the most memorable.

Music - bit of everything, from 80s rock to salsa!

Movies - blockbusters like the Matrix and foreign films such as The Spanish Apartment and The Lives of Others.

Books - favourite authors include John Irvine, Gabriel Garcia Marques, Wilbur Smith and Paul Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing is probably the scenery around El Chalten in Argentine Patagonia.

The trans-siberian was pretty eye opening too.

Oh, and swimming with wild dolphins in Kaikora, New Zealand.
