ABOUT ME

Where do I start? I'm from the Sacramento area of California and I'm a student at three schools in Springfield, MO. I'm currently a "medical school" hopeful. If it all pans out I plan to apply to the Uniformed Services University of Health and Scienes (USU) to serve in the Medical Core of the Navy. School is a big part of my life but I try not to let it be the biggest part. I'm all about hanging out and having a good time with people doing all kinds of crazy stuff. When I'm home I'm either trying to spend time at the beach, or up in the mountains, at a lake, or out late with friends dancing the night away. In Springfield on the other hand I find myself driving hundreds of miles away to do something fun because it didn't take long before I'd done all there was to do here. My life is about a progressively good time.

My interests lie in many different places. I've been an athlete the majority of my life playing several different sports in high school and even as I began college. I've played Water Polo, Volleyball, some Basketball, Baseball, and in my free time I've tried to be a golfer with my Dad. I'm currently more of a musician and writer than an athlete any more. I've played in churches, bars, clubs, convention centers, at the beach and a few other places. My main instrument is the electric guitar but every once in awhile you'll see me playing acoustic guitar and you may even hear me sing.

Traveling is my #1 love along with learning other languages. In a perfect world I'd speak 10 languages and have traveled most of the globe. I'm a student of several languages like Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Spanish, and progressing into French. I hate feeling like a tourist so I figured I'd cure that by learning some languages.

I've yet to participate. I just found the website and heard about it in depth for the first time today!!! I've signed up to show people around and have coffee where I live because for now that's all I can offer. I plan to couch surf as soon as I get a chance and enjoy this wonderful family of people who've opened there homes and lives to new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've survived two heart surgeries...they weren't high risk but then again how many people do you know that have had surgery once on anything. Now think about how many of them had surgery on a vital organ. And finally do you know anyone whose had heart surgery? Meet me and you'll be able to answer yes to all those questions. haha
