About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and learn more about the world outside my own.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy photography, hiking, and supporting my UNLV athletic teams!

FYI, I live in Las Vegas, but my "last login" might say something on the east coast. That's because of how my work computer accesses the internet.

PHILOSOPHY

I tend to go with the flow. I let life take me wherever it takes me. I know that doesn't sounds very ambitious. I guess I'm just too laid back sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I've couchsurfed twice and they were both amazing experiences! I look forward to becoming more involved in the near future. Once I get my place in order, I hope I can step outside of my comfort zone and start hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once bumped into the local LV CS group at a downtown Las Vegas pub (one of my Yelp friends is fairly active in the group). I met some cool people that night.

My first two CS stays were tremendous. My first one was in Albuquerque with Nathan. The second was with Denee and Dirk near Seattle. Both trips were wonderful in their own ways. I think they have all spoiled CS for me and I'll have high standards for everyone in the future. Kidding.

Interests

Photography, hiking... the beauty of nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of movies and music... OK maybe most types of music.

I don't read enough. We actually have a Yelp book club where we read non-fiction and meet every other month.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I hiked Half Dome in Yosemite with a few friends. That's the most rewarding hike I've ever done. We then followed that up the next day with an exhilarating whitewater rafting trip down the Tuolumne River. And just when we hit the final rapids, I fell in! Sounds scary, but it was the best thing that could have possibly happened to me. I'll never forget it.

Please hold... I'll think of something fantastic to put in this box...
