HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We will start hosting people upon our arrival back in New Zealand, currently slated for mid-2013. At the moment we don't have a house/flat as there's no need when travelling for a year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have "couchsurfed" with friends for six months around Europe. It was great! And we decided to start doing this more often..

Jack is a sing song guitarist, keen but utterly hopeless fisherman and surfer, amateur designer, aspiring writer and avid video gamer, who loves sport of all kinds with a few exceptions - synchronized swimming for example.

Maddy is a budding gardener, foodie-coffee-cafe enthusiast (and two-time former cafe owner), and suffers from a severe Pinterest-come-Instagram addiction. Jack is teaching Maddy to play a guitar that we picked up in Haarlem, Holland six months ago. Rock!

We both like photography, travelling, reading, certain films and TV series, learning things, and each other. Aww.

Update: Jack is now addicted to Pinterest and Instagram as well. Maddy saw it coming.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Trekking in the Himalayas for two weeks - complete with severe food poisoning and a dose of altitude sickness for good measure. Looking a big Himalayan Mountain Goat square in the eye, before running off like scared little girls.. Jack losing his eyesight for a night owing to extreme exhaustion. An experience to be sure!
