ABOUT ME

I'm John but most people call me Johnny/Johnno etc...

I'm easy going, tall and rather clumsy. Sometimes described as a "Shaved Polar Bear" - I think this is a complement. I've done a fair bit of travelling, but it's never enough! Norway and the middle east are my next aims.

I'll spend most of my time split between working, volunteering with youth groups or huddled somewhere in the mountains (cold and hungry but loving it)

Love travelling and I'm getting more and more into my bike touring. Unfortunately I mumble and have a thick Scottish accent - feel free to kick me if I'm not speaking clearly.

If you'd ever like a hand in the city please give us a shout - I won't be able to give you the grand history tour but I can show anyone a good time.

I'd love to show people around the city or just give them a hand. I'm currently not able to lend a couch but I'll try and be helpful in other ways.

Interests

Biking, Climbing, Mountaineering, Youth Work, sitting in a bar and having a laugh. I currently work as a boot fitter / technical advisor in an outdoor shop - which is nice as I'm either out doing something stupid or taking teenagers into the mountains.

I've given most sports a go - I'm terrible at all of them :D
