As citizens of the world, we try to live as part of the solution, and to do so pragmatically rather than philosophically. Sharing the Journey with other enlightened travelers has proven nothing but great fun. We are looking to bring it up a notch

ABOUT ME

We are keen travelers, avid learners and culturally carnivorous. As a mostly vegetarian household, that word is rarely used in another context! I eat meat though, and the grill is no stranger to it. We enjoy discovering new places as much as we do meeting the people who live in them. Sharing a meal, bottle of wine and tale or two make for splendid company. Our next sojourn is always just around the corner. We do have a shared aversion to organized and shepherded entertainment and with the exception of a recent gifted Disney cruise, never act as sheeple.
As long as you share a genuine a love and respect for our planet and its inhabitants, you would be hard pressed to find more open minded and accommodating hosts than us!!! We are at that perfect stage in life where we enjoy the occasional indiscretions of youth with the benefit of experience and common sense.

PHILOSOPHY

You bring yourself with you wherever you go, so choose to be happy, manifest good things around you and take personal responsibility for the way in which you choose to react to life’s challenges. If you live a kind, giving, sharing and meaningful existence the Karma bus will in all probability not run you over. We all share the energy, so let’s tune the frequency.

Have not surfed myself for several years years--But have enjoyed the company of dozens of brilliant travelers and families who joined us both in our home in Palm Harbor Florida and at the properties I managed in Homosassa and Largo Florida as well as our condos in Sunny Isles Beach Miami and Swansea Mass . COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent 10 fantastic days traveling and working in Spain with a superb CS community. As couch surfing has been discovered we have not been able to accommodate all requests or those of questionable character. Complete profiles are very important. Before CS as before the internet, we have for years been host to friends traveling internationally, foreign exchange students and others on holiday in Fla --. And have never been shy about being entertained while on the road ourselves.

For Liss that would be the farm ,(Horses above all else ) Haute cooking, and sharing in our interests together . For me it would be Bicycling, Sailing, My dog, and my wife and Children. Surely none of the aforementioned is in order of preference…….

We breed Highland cows and raise a number of magnificent beasts both as pets and to eat ":)

We have found ourselves in the midst of many an adventure, but what qualifies as amazing?? The natural wonders we often find ourselves in, or some act of luck, bravery or stupidity that might be impressive having survived the experience? Having fortune find us on the right side of the aforementioned provides for a story worth sharing--and we have a few.

So very much to be discovered. We are fairly well versed in local travel and with some authority could offer advice about much of the continental US. We can also speak with some confidence to issues of alternative medicine, living water, the arts, and the demise of free thinking, and the illusion of civil liberty.
