Aloha, I live on the north shore of Kauai. I work with tropical agriculture and satellite imagery applications in agriculture, mostly in coffee. I've lived a bunch of places and have settled down here on Kauai, at least for a bit.

I love the outdoors, hiking, surfing, swimming, diving, etc... I almost always prefer being in nature over a city.

I enjoy good conversations about traveling, history, world affairs, anything about the natural world. I also love learning languages and practicing languages. Anyone here familiar with MundoLingo?

I expect couchsurfing to be a give and take. I've been so fortunate to travel all over the world and now wish to give a little back to the backpacking community. Traveling seems to be getting a lot more difficult, so hopefully if we all work together it will get easier again.

I like meeting new people from around the globe. I've benefited from couchsurfing in the past and the time I spent backpacking (India, SE Asia, Aust, etc...) were some of the best years of my life. I hope I can help and inspire more people to travel.
