ABOUT ME

I'm a young geology graduate, currently PhD student in Dublin, and I love discovering new places, new people, have fun and simply live without wondering too much about what tomorrow's made of.

I've got a rather creative mind and I have a lot of imagination. I made some short movies and draw comic strips as a hobby, among other things.

I would love to spend my life exploring the Earth and hopefully other worlds! Who knows?

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can and try to spend good times with the people I meet. When I go to someone's place, I love to learn about their life, their work, their hobbies, their special places... Everyone I met through Couchsurfing had a great story to tell! I can't wait to hear yours :)

I also just love to hang out with people, do stuff together, exploring, sports, games or even art!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Hey everyone! Look, since I can't host due to the pandemic, I'm suggesting we meet via video call. I'm starting a new podcast project (mostly for French-speakers) and if you want to participate, send me a message! I'm looking for people who are not afraid to speak on camera, don't take things too seriously and have a sense of humour. If you like to share your opinions on diverse subjects, you're probably perfect for the task. Do get in touch!

Interests

I like geology, music, movies, travelling, exploring, trying new things, meeting new people, party, hiking, climbing, history, writing stories, comic strips and short movies and most of all I like having a laugh with my friends (old or new)!

I'm always amazed at the beauty of nature and I love going hiking and travelling as often as possible. When I see the wonders of the world, I am always thinking of how fragile it is and how important it is for us to protect and respect it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : Sci-Fi-Adventure-Drama mostly... but I'm not too difficult, I like a lot of different genres, provided that the movie is well written and well directed. Some of my favourite directors are Spike Jonze, Quentin Dupieux, Xavier Dolan, Wes Anderson...

TV Shows i like : Doctor Who, Black Mirror, Sex Education, Utopia, Spaced, The Handmaid's Tale, Misfits, Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, Agents Of SHIELD, Sherlock, Pushing Daisies, RuPaul's Drag Race, Fresh Meat, Mars, Skins, Skam... I've recently started watching Star Trek as well. It's very cool actually.

Music i like to dance on :
European electro music mostly but I have ecclectic tastes. These days I listen to whatever I stumble upon on Spotify :P

I usually read science-fiction books too, I could tell you about some great ones I've been reading lately. Also trying to write one at the moment. It's hard! :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled around Iceland hitchhiking for 3 weeks, probably the most epic trip I've made. So nice memories!
I came back to France from the Lofoten Islands... the long way, by train. An amazing trip!
I also mountainbiked through the Navajo desert of Utah. Pretty hard but so beautiful!
Hitchhiked through the UK all the way to the Hebrides... I fell in love with Scotland.
Going to the other side of the Earth!!! Hitchhiking and climbing up volcanoes in New Zealand. Brilliant place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you about the geology of your region/hometown
I like making movies, writing stories and creating board games
I would like to learn a maximum of languages - japanese or polish could be great-, and I could teach you some French or Norwegian (the easiest language in the world - no kidding).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My hospitality and my language skills. I also know a lot of nice places to eat, drink, dance, walk and more. If you're lucky and you inspire me, I'll probably write and make a movie about you.
