About Me
CURRENT MISSION
In 3 years, I want to move to Brazil for around a 1 year to train BJJ and experience the wonderful Brazilian culture
ABOUT ME
My name is Shaun, and I'm a recent college grad who is working and living in the metro-Detroit area. I have a love for my plethora of hobbies, and I enjoy sharing my passions with others. Recently I've decided that within the next three years, I want to move to Brazil for awhile where I can train BJJ from the masters. I have already begun to learn Portuguese on my own, but I hope to reach fluency by the time I leave.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to think that if you have a passion, or an interest, then you should go after it. Only through exploring our interests do we discover ourselves.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was actually in London during the underground bombings, and it was amazing to see the kind of resilience that those people displayed that week. It really gave me an appreciation for the English culture, namely the "business as usual" mantra used to defeat terrorism. I found it inspiring, and I think that this may be another reason why I'd love to experience the Brazilian culture firsthand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the basics of all of my hobbies, should anyone be interested. I really love knowledge shares, and if you ask me questions on any of my interests, be careful because I may just talk your head off haha.
As far as what I would want to learn, I would love to learn Portuguese before I go to Brazil. I could help with someone's English, if they were willing to help my Portuguese. Other than that, I'm open to learning most anything.
