ABOUT ME

I was born in Kiev, Ukraine, but have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for 17 years. This has given me a dual perspective of the world and I think that is important.

I am a freelance graphic designer, illustrator, and user experience designer. I mostly work in the tech industry (duh, this is silicon valley). I also love psychology, sociology, philosophy, math, science. Most everything. I love learning!!

Also, I'm obsessed with cooking! I love it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some wonderful travelers through this site. I love people who love to travel, since they generally don't have tunnelvision that sedentary people often do.

I've hosted people at my home before, but not people I'd met through CS.

I finally had the privilege to couchsurf in Germany this winter! It was lovely!

Intereses

I am interested in just about everything that there is, from camping to binge-watching TV on my laptop, from math to history, from politics to closing my eyes and ears and screaming, "LALALALALALAA."

Climbed 7,200 steps to the top of Tai Shan. When I was done, I sat on a rock for an hour and painted the Azure Temple.

I can give you my thoughts on drawing, design, user experience...

I can also give you some tips about improvising delicious food. Best way to learn how to cook is to cook, though, so I think we should cook together!

I really want to learn how to play guitar! Can you teach me? I'll let you stay with me :).
