ABOUT ME

Scientist on the inside, athlete on the outside. Nature/fresh air and I have a solid relationship. I'm keen on recognizing and appreciating various simple pleasures, such as the smell of rain on warm asphalt, sand on bare feet, campfires, the sound of tennis balls being hit (thwok!), smiles from strangers, and wildflowers growing where ever they want. I've recently entered the amateur cooking arena, as I'm a foodie. I enjoy a good conversation and coffee in the morning. Eating samples at food markets, especially Farmers' Markets, makes me happy.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all connected, to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, and to the rest of the universe atomically. Therefore, to me, the greatest pleasure in life is interacting with others. Happiness is best when shared. I'm on the path to become a physician because I want to connect with and help others not only in my native California, but also internationally. When we connect with others, we learn about others, and in the process we learn about ourselves. That is my goal in life: to continue to discover and learn everyday.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm brand new to this site and have no experience couch surfing. I know this may be a turn off for some people. Please give me a chance! I ask that you recall your first couch surfing experience, and consider that you will have the opportunity to show me how positive this experience can be! I would love to chat online, via email, or skype video chat to get to know each other before my stay. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently traveled to Honduras with fellow medical students to provide healthcare to an indigenous mountain village. It was perhaps the most eye-opening cultural and social experiences of my life.
