Artist. Traveler. Generally pretty cool dude.

I look to make the most of any situation I encounter and while I've only had 24 short years on this planet, I like to think that I'm spending them in a way that improves not only my experience, but also that of those around me.

For lack of less boiler plate prose, I'm on a mission to find the real. Travelling with a pack and guitar on my back, I'm looking to meet people that offer me an unabashed glimpse into their daily lives and show me a side of their city that can't be found in a brochure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I have yet to couchsurf using this site, I've had many great experiences with those who have surfed with friends and roommates of mine. I'm hoping to become active in the couchsurfing community very soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

Duke Ellington once said, "There are two kinds of music. Good music, and the other kind."

With that in mind, I appreciate all types of music so long as it is authentic in its sentiment and execution. These days, I listen to a lot of Jazz, Blues, Electronica and Hip Hop.

Books: Hunter S Thompson, Hemingway, Orwell, Dostoyevsky, Kafka and Camus to name a few. Currently reading Catch 22 by Joseph Heller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently summited Mt Kenya! I'll never forget the breathtaking view along the Chogoria Route as we trudged down from the peak.
