ABOUT ME

i live half my time in Barcelona, and half in the hills in the Aragon countryside where i am developing an eco-tourism project. I love my bike, and being out and about, and skiing, swimming in the river, reading the paper, and my friends.

PHILOSOPHY

be nice to the planet and each other, don't be selfish; 50% of the planet live in homes with dirt floors, do what you can and yes you will be a hypocrite sometimes (like when i go skiing ... pretty baaad for the environment) but that is better than doing nothing. THINK!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i haven't been able to offer a couch in barcelona so not much. i went for a free hugs event once and that was a great experience, it surprised me that the posh looking 50+ catalan women were most into hugging, they loved it

Interests

i can be interested in any subject as long as the person telling me has passion for it. i had an hour long conversation about international finance in a bar in Jilitla, Mexico once. When i'm on my own i cycle, walk, look around at where i am and what's happening, read the paper (in Spanish on a good day), go on adventures, ski when i can, dance around my bedroom.. er i mean listen to music... lots of things.

special knowledge.. hmmm.. i've done a hell of a lot of travelling on my own, i have plenty of ideas on that to share. i know mexico and barcelona and the uk, and english, and maths!! as far as learning goes i'd like to see the best bits of places, pronounce a few words of the language correctly and meet people.
