Hello! I'm Chase. I'm often described as energetic, caring, fascinated, and adventurous. In the past I've built software for electric vehicles, satellites, Google, and Quizlet. I spend much of my time on adventures, learning, and building.
When I'm not working, I do a variety of things. Here's an example of 2 months of me not working: http://blog.chaselambda.com/2017/11/02/2-month-summary.html
I love Burning Man, group living, sharing stories, and making art.
I pride myself on being flexible and working to make other's lives better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm particularly interested in learning about people and how they live their lives. What routines do they have?
What lessons have they learned that made their lives better? What do they want to do in the future? What is their job like?
I've had many (really) incredible experiences couch surfing in Portland, New York, Berlin, Dresden, Salt Lake City, and Prague.
Anything physical: hiking, biking (Biked across Missouri with http://spokesamerica.com/, biked through Europe), running (Mountain running, a few half marathons), Kayaking, Frisbee (including on jetskis), Triathlons (done 4), Disc Golf, Swimming (I'm not the best, but my spirit animal is a duck)
Computers, math, economics, sciences, literature, history
Education (taught in Germany, Ghana, India)
Volunteering (Habitat for Humanity, tree planting nearby, fixing bikes)
Piano (just beginning)
Playing.. however that manifests itself
Fruit, chocolate, smiling, working hard, hanging out

Crime movies (inside man was one of my favorites), those with badasses (Bourne, Bond), any Pixar movie
Lots of indie music
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Swam in a bioluminescent bay at night in Puerto Rico.
- Covered a mansion in murals
- Ate pizza with a someone who tried to steal my bike
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how computers work (allll the way down to electrons)
I can teach you how to throw a frisbee
I want to learn about who you are and what interests you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always carrying frisbees with me. If you need one, you can have mine (used, of course)
