heyo Born and raised in India. Moved to Houston, Tx, when I was 9. Grew up in Houston went to UT Austin for college. Growing up my parents travelled a lot, thus they inculcated the passion in me to travel. After finishing up college, I joined a small startup, where I work in tech. In my free time, I travel, and explore the world. I am social person but can be a bit shy. I love to travel and explore the culture and history of the places I visit. I enjoy learning the intricacies of the culture, and history of the places I visit. I truly think the best way to experience the city and culture is by staying and engaging with people from the city. Would love to meet people from the cities and the places I visit.

Interests

I have playing and following tennis since I was young, thus it is a part of me. I will most likely not have racquet with when I travel, but I love to talk tennis and maybe go see a local match?

I love hiking. I like to explore the nature and connect with the world wherever I visit. It is the one thing that stays constant whenever I visit.

Wherever I visit,I try to experience the local cuisine, even though, I am am vegetarian, I am able to find local foods to tasty and rather accommodating.

I love any pop and current movies. Having said that my favorite list is is The matrix, lord of the rings, and good will hunting.

Before attending college I used to read a lot, this ranged from fantasy to classics. But now I read business books, mainly in the area of tech and entrepreneurship, and spirituality books. The books I am reading right now are Good to Great and Captivate. My all time favorite books are The alchemist, Tuesdays with Morrie, and a Man's Search for Meaning.

I am not avid about music. However, having said that, I do like to listen to live music independent of genre. I usually shift between, deep house/ trance, bollywood, rap, pop, rock, classical, carnatic, and carnatic fusion. music. Right now my phase is carnatic and trace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking Mount Fuji after recovering from a broken leg. I travelled to Japan right after I injured my right leg and hiked the mountain while it was not completely healed.
