Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I used to travel quite a bit before I graduated from my university. Nowadays I do it less often but one thing has not changed. I still believe that traveling just for the sake of seeing some buildings from the eras long gone without actually coming in contact with the people and the vibe of the present is a waste of time.
Moreover, staying at a hotel or a hostel in an empty room is silly when you can stay with interesting people who are usually familiar with what is going on locally. If possible I am also open to provide such an opportunity to people coming to my city.

Interessen

The World is my biggest intrest I guess. I am constantly trying to crack it's mystery although I am pretty sure I will never manage to do that...
Besides that, technology and science and how it can improve our lives, different cultures, human behaviour, environment, social relationships... well everything I can get my hands on really ^_^ THE WORLD IS JUST TOO FASCINATING! ^_^

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like various types of music, a lot of rock, punk, folk, ethno, electronic.
I have stopped reading fiction books as I have discovered that there are SO MANY brilliant books on our world and it's inner workings!
There are too many movies to mention!

Me and my girlfriend went on a 2-month long hitchhiking tour around Europe visiting 16 countries, from Croatia to Norway.

I can prepare some nice vegan food. I can engage you in an exciting conversation. I may teach you English if you have some difficulties with grammar or such things ;o)
Most of all - I can be as little of a burden for my host as possible because I understand that letting someone surf your couch is one but taking care of that person for the whole time is a completely different thing. I won't interfere with your daily routines =o)
