HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I help guests discover and learn about the hidden treasures of the Icelandic outdoors and the awesomeness of Icelanders. I spemt five months roaming in Europe, looking for friendly people on the way, next trip unplanned.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and assisted other hosts with activities, met wonderful people that way. And I have surfed for almost 5 months in Europe. The greatest moment was after a great day of sightseeing back home with 4 Russian surfers. There was a feast to celebrate one of them's birthday and the birthday girl got a proposal for desert.

Interessen

Outdoor stuff, camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, scouting, climbing/abseiling, fantasy literature, D&D, horseback riding and sitting around the campfire telling stories of great adventures.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Most.
For music and movies it depends on my mood mostly, but I do enjoy reaching new music.

When it comes to books I prefer fantasy novels. I have gone through plenty of the Eberron novels, handful of the old Sagas, Patrick Rothfuss and I've just started on Discworld

Saw the band Europe play at the closing ceremony of the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden 2011.
