About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world, make friends, see everything, take absurd amounts of photos
ABOUT ME
I have spent the past 4 1/2 years living in Seoul, South Korea. That has given me the opportunity to do a ton of traveling: Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, and China, to name a few. I have had such an amazing time here, but I'm moving to the next stage in my life: New York City! Time to try to do improv for a living during an economic recession- YAY!!!
Free time activities: yoga, hiking, listening to podcasts while walking around Seoul, running around the city with friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe people should do what makes them happy while focusing on what makes loved ones happy. Try not to harm anyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host selectively - I have two roommates and two cats so it's pretty difficult to make it work - and couchsurf whenever I can. It makes visiting an unknown place a delight.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in England and Hong Kong, and it's an amazing way to meet fantastic people! I love it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love foreign music- that is, non-English language music. I also love cheesy dance music. As for books, my favorites are "Everything is Illuminated" and "Moby Dick."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the temples in Chiang Mai, Thailand was astounding. I wish I could be there now!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about comedy- improv (I teach a class) as well as stand up and sketch. It's a great passion of mine. If you're interested in being a comedian, the most important thing is to listen and react and not be afraid of the wackiness in life. Thinking too much about what people think of you will make you lose your comedic abilities. However, not worrying about that at all can also make you lose something great, because comedy is ultimately about giving the gifts of joy and laughter to others. Ultimately, any kind of performance is both selfish and selfless. You give a gift of yourself and your abilities, but you expect laughter and recognition. I love being on stage.
