CURRENT MISSION
To sit the Iron Throne!
ABOUT ME
Undoubtedly they'd say I'm a friendly dorky guy. I'm very easy going and enjoy relaxing as much as having adventures.
I'm newly married to my lovely wife Amanda. She's both my best friend and my soul-mate.
PHILOSOPHY
I do everything I can to stay in the moment. This can be very difficult as I tend to be very methodical.
The Golden Rule really is a universal truth that I feel everyone should live by. Everyone on this little planet could get along so much better if we were given the opportunity to experience life from each other's perspectives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking to give a little back to the community by offering my couch if possible, and otherwise hosting visitors for dinner and showing them around Tulsa.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've been on two trips to Japan that involved a stay with CS folks.
Interests
I live to play. I love board games, soccer, and running. My extended family is into croquete and hunting, so I dabble there as well.
My wife and I also enjoy movies and tv series, and like to pass the time planning out our survival should the zombie apocalypse happen soon.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I love sci-fi, action, and comedy. I like movies that find a way to combine all three.
Books: I'm currently reading A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. I'm a slow reader but I really enjoy it.
Music: My taste in music is very ecclectic, but I tend to listen to techno/electronic music. I also like Jazz and 90s alternative. I really don't care for the music that's popular in the States these days.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I set foot in Tokyo I knew I was a stranger in a strange land. It is incredibly humbling to realize you are at the mercy of a society that has few comminalitiesmwith your own. That was my first couch surfing experience and if it wasn't for my host Masu I would have been so lost! The experience was amazing.
The second moment was when I visited St. Columbo's Monastery on the isle of Iona. You have to see it to understand how breathtaking the Scottish isles are.
Teach, Learn, Share
Oh wow, this is a big open question. I'll have to think about it for a bit.
