ABOUT ME

I have cycled across america, I have hiked most national parks, I have kicked around a few places in europe but I am really interested in expanding my travel experiences. I prefer travel that allows me to meet people, experience local culture, and exchange ideas.

PHILOSOPHY

Lincoln once said "when I do good i feel good, when I do bad i feel bad, that is my religeon" That quote has stuck with me more than anything I have read. I try to make choices that enrich me and enrich my surroundings. I also think my life is best measured by my experiences, not by possessions or savings or anything else.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed and hosted. Both were awesome experiences. I think I love showing a stranger the nooks and crannies of my city as much as I like being a stranger in a new place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

swimming in the arctic circle at 3 am in daylight and reaching the pacific ocean after cycling cross country. descending the coastal mountains after weeks of a ride a was not trained or ready for gave me a sense of perserverence that i didnt know I had.
