About Me

Hi, I'm Daniel, some crazy guy who attempted to break the worldrecord of the longest hike. Sadly I had to cancel my journey after 660km due to financial problems :')

Well anyway I'm into anything extreme, like for example climbing to the top of the highest mountain of germany on the hardest route with only 2h of sleep💀
Or once I told some beduine guide to abandon me in the deserts of jordan and went hiking for a day only with a compass and a self-made map. I told them to pick me up at the same spot as they abandoned me as the sun sets x)

For now I'm back to usual work life and just playing the guitar every single day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Rather than just seeing a place from a tourist perspective, I want to explore places as if I live there. I want to see what the people who live there see and I want to understand their lives. Life is so different everywhere and I want to learn about new perspectives and ways of living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually I can't really tell what's my favorite song or artist. I listen to different music every single day and I enjoy almost every genre.
I like hip hop, rock, metal, indie pop, indie rock, reggae, techno, jazz, funk and so on.
But currently I mostly listen to shoegaze, grungegaze, stoner rock, stoner doom, doom metal, trap and some other subgenres of rap

And well I don't really watch movies or read books, I enjoy the real life much more. But sometimes I read philosophical books :)
