About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Beat medical school. Eat noodles.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently a medical student, but if I have time, I'd love to meet some new people!

I may be quiet at first, but I warm up pretty quickly and I have my bouts of spontaneity and mischievousness. I'm generally pretty easygoing and I keep an open mind. I love trying new things, meeting new people and strive to be well-rounded.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep an open-mind. Don't subscribe to absolutes.
Learn, learn, learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I attend events, meet new friends, make new connections.
I was able to Couchsurf in Japan and it was awesome. Hopefully I can host some great people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just surfed my first couch in Tokyo!
I have also attended some events and got to meet a bunch of awesome people.

Interests

I try to keep diverse interests. If we don't have anything in common at first, I'm always down to try something new!

Obviously I enjoy traveling. Exploring other cultures, customs, and cuisines is quite exciting.

I enjoy learning in general, whether through courses, books, other media, or hands-on experience. Whether it's economics, science, art, or whatever, if you have something interesting to share, I'm down!

I try to stay fit, and especially enjoy athletics including: Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, American Football, Rugby, and Rock Climbing.

I enjoy some nerdy/geeky pastimes as well such as upgrading/building computers, Gunpla, and gaming (namely DotA but I have been known to play LoL at the request of friends).

I enjoy music although I don't see live music as much as I'd like. I am a musician as well (piano and saxophone) but it has been difficult to find time recently!

Food is something I also enjoy immensely. My father is a cook so I've always been surrounded by good food. I love trying new cuisines, even if I don't always end up loving what I try.
