ABOUT ME

Currently teaching English to some crazy, although mostly, entertaining, middle schoolers.

I like yogurt, stretching, coffee, live music, figuring out how things work, rediscovering old music, finding lost things, peanut butter, Kurt Vonnegut, Engrish shirts, a good cold beer and a book, cooking, wandering, crashing after a long day.

The best remembered thing I've said is that, "In a dog eat dog world, it pays to be a T-Rex."

The New Pornographers and The Decemberists are playing as I edit this. Good bands. You should check them out.

The last book I finished was The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz (just started reading: Sometimes a Great Notion by Ken Kesey)

When people would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up I would tell them a dinosaur/fireman/policeman.

I'm more than some gimmicks and quirks. This is less of summary than it is a series of random facts.
