About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore all the beauty New Zealand has to offer

ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from UC Davis in Viticulture and Enology and have since been working at Jericho Canyon Vineyard. Other people describe me as laid back but describing yourself is aways hard to do.

I grew up in Hawaii and California and lived in Madrid when I was in elementary school. My sisters studied Arabic in Jordan and Syria and I would visit. I have always liked traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

spread a little aloha around the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I have not yet had a chance to host but I feel like I should pay it forward since everyone has been so great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bergamo: ideal first couchsurfing experience with a guy that was perfect as a host and took us everywhere despite it being hot out and even introduced us to all his friends

Genova: midnight tour of the city and a great time making and eating dinner with our funny laid back host

Rome: finally met other couch surfers being hosted at the same time and that was a fun experience to have strangers come together and go see the world cup and stuff

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I liked hiking the pyranees, riding camels in Morocco, car camping with my family across the US, and boating down the li river in China.

Teach, Learn, Share

I won't bore people with the details here on the page but ask me any winemaking questions. The many hours of chemistry, wine analysis, and lab work will finally be put to use.
