ABOUT ME

Recently graduated students with very different backgrounds. Joe grew up fishing and being outdoors in semi-rural Alaska, while Katie spent her formative years in urban San Diego until her move to suburban Temecula, California. Both met in Hawaii while attending UH Manoa, and have been inseparable since. Currently living in Alaska and moving to San Diego next year for a change in latitude. We're enjoying seeing the world together, traveling to Europe in fall 2009 / spring 2010 and hope to meet YOU abroad!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Joe - Learning to surf the blue-green Pacific Ocean on Oahu and swimming with tropical fish every day. Hiking in Denali Park and seeing moose, bears, dall sheep, and caribou. I've got plans to swim in the Arctic Ocean this fall!

Katie - Visiting Stonehenge, simply brilliant. Kayaking the Na Pali coast off Kauai. Glacier hiking in Matanuska, Alaska. I'd love to see as many countries as possible and sample their cuisine(s)!
