ABOUT ME

We have joined couchsurfing.com because, well, it's the greatest idea ever!We love to travel. Any kind. Road trips, fly-bys, stay-cations, grown-up airplane trips, we are on it!

Right now, we are preparing for one of our most exciting trips to date! Get ready Europe, here we come!

We want to be more than tourists though, we want to leave the place and people we come in contact with, better for us having been there... We hope to learn more about the world, and maybe teach it a little something too! So I guess this is our effort... and our honeymoon!

We have been together for a long time and are ready to make it official! We are getting married on the 5Th of August and then we are off to the city of love. We are going to stay in a hotel during our time in Paris but would love to meet, greet, or eat, with locals and/or lovers of the local culture to show us what the city is really about. That goes for the rest of our "European Vacation" as well.

We will be traveling from Paris to the Netherlands. Then we will be off to Germany, on our way to Switzerland. From there we are going to hang out in Italy. We are starting in Venice and then meandering to Rome, then off to London we go! Going to Ireland and then back to England to look for the people that made it possible for us to exist.

We are looking forward to seeing the sights, but even more than the terrain, we would like to make great memories and even better friends.

Along with our hope of couch surfing while we are in Europe, we are hoping to host couch surfers as well. We are lucky enough to live in one of the greatest cities on the planet and we like to show it off!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Getting ready to host our first official couch surfer, the first of many I'm sure. We are also excited to have our first "hosted" experience this summer.

Interests

We like to travel. We like to play card and board games, well hell, all games except for mind games really. We like to camp and don't mind luxury hotels. We like dancing and singing. We enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. Sometimes, we even LOVE doing nothing at all.:)

Music, Movies, and Books

I feel like Hank, Johnny, and Merle were my long lost uncles. I was baptised in cryin in your beer music and believe that the steel guitar, banjo, and fiddle are under-apprichiated, mostly by Patrick! I am a sucker for a ballad, yes, I'll say it, I know more than my share of Neil Diamond,REO Speedwagon, John Denver, and Christopher Cross. Marilyn Manson is a genious. Jack Johnson is not as fun to watch in concert as Prince, but I still love that he has some funk for a white guy and Patrick likes Dapeche Mode.

Seriously, we like most all music. Except for Dapeche Mode ;O)
