CURRENT MISSION

COVID really put a hold on my love of travel! But 2023 is the year of new travels.

In April my friend and I will be visiting Japan for 2 weeks. The plan is to visit Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka!

Lots of beer, sushi and good fun Japanese style!

I always hate to describe myself but I'll have a go...

I'm a pretty open-minded person. Hence the reason I enjoy traveling. I can pretty much talk to anyone. I am NOT shy!

I usually take 1-2 big trips per year.

I love using Couch surfing to meet new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past I stayed at a couple people's homes. That was nice but these days I much prefer to use CouchSurfing as a way to meet new people. I've had amazing success with that.

Musically I listen to all kinds of music but mostly metal, punk and dungeon synth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most amazing thing I've ever done (and in hindsight probably the most dangerous) was going drinking with my tuk tuk driver in Siam Reap, Cambodia.

Along with my American friend we drank A LOT with our tuk tuk driver and his friends. We sang karaoke, shot pool, toasted Canada, Cambodia and USA. I rode in the side car of a Soviet era motorcycle at 3am. Ripping down the streets.

Good times. Good times.
