Overview
About Me
For the next couple of month I am not able to host as the people that I live with do not want that. But I will eventually return to CS.
FIRST AND FOREMOST
- If you request to stay with me, I'll usually respond within a few hours (during daylight).
If you 1. read the FIRST AND FOREMOST-section and the "my house"-section and 2. include in your message which item (e.g. a bicycle, a backpack, a pan, a....) describes you best and why, then I will most probably accept your request.
- Respect in requesting is important to me. Sadly that's not for everyone in here. So I don't want to be part of a mass request. Please only ask one person at a time, because everyone is human here and deserves respect. Therefore, I like it when people answer to requests. As an active host I receive many requests (when I lived in Delft about 3 times a week) and I plan my time accordingly. I enjoy to help people but I am feeling misused when I get canceled then.
- Some people don’t host surfers if they don’t have any reference, but I don`t care. Neverteless, the idea of CS was to host first and surf then. Why should I trust you, if you don’t trust anyone. Think about it ;)
- My Covid-status: Vaccinated and also recovered. (both twice)
- I am not interessted in sexual contact but I am open to hug / cuddle (any gender).
- Duolingo: Theo262824
CURRENT MISSION
The question "Why do you do what you do?" is far more significant than "What do you do?" If you haven’t yet asked yourself, "Why do I do what I do?", the time to reflect is now. While it's possible to pursue any career or activity, if your sole motivation is just to earn money or seek pleasure, it might be worth reconsidering your path. I’m here and happy to reflect on this together with you. :)
Currently, I have two major goals. My primary goal is to win souls for Christ, the Redeemer of the World, and my secondary goal is to become a professor in computer science in the near future. To pursue the first goal, I’ve enrolled in a missionary school, and for the second, I recently submitted my Ph.D. thesis. These pursuits occupy most of my time right now.
It surprises me to find myself on this journey. Just a few years ago, I was involved in activism, occupying forests, and striving to create a better society. However, my disillusionment with the state's use of violence and the lack of effective means to achieve social and climate justice led me to change course. Now, I focus on mathematics and organizing meaningful church events. My thesis explores several biological questions related to the mass extinction of animals from an algorithmic perspective. While I’m unsure if this contributes to societal change, at least it feels non-harmful.
Ultimately, my goal is to leave a positive impact on society. To achieve this, I aspire to embody values that have become essential to me, such as meekness, generosity, and love for those around me. Along the way, I hope to connect with great people and create memorable experiences with friends.
ABOUT ME
In my life I have tried many things and then followed through pretty consistently. To give just a small list of them: I was successful in my studies, I visited many soccer stadiums, I was quite successful in party politics, I occupied forests, and and and. A very colorful bouquet of life experiences.
An interesting fact about me: I share all my money in a group. So we so not have to be lone warriors. Please dare to ask me more about that, if you are interested.
Without a doubt, the most important step in my life was that I decided to walk with Jesus and this constant has continued throughout the years.
For me it is important to not live on the cost of others. Minimalism and living mostly good with nature are one of my top ideals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I genuinely enjoy engaging with others and discovering what drives them. Every person has their own unique story, and it's truly fascinating to learn about their experiences. Through conversation, we not only uncover each other’s political opinions but also reflect on and potentially reevaluate our own views—especially when the dialogue is meaningful. The best way to challenge and move beyond entrenched beliefs is through open and thoughtful discussion.
When visiting a new city, you can only experience a fraction of its essence if you don't connect with its people. The residents are the true color and character of a city; to truly understand what a place is like, you need to interact with those who live there.
Unfortunately, some people see Couchsurfing merely as a cheap way to find a place to sleep. While saving money is a nice benefit, that’s not what motivates me. If you're reaching out, please do so with the intention of having meaningful conversations and exchanging ideas.
Interests
I used to spend most of my time with ecological activism on several platforms.
Ever since 2014 I'm traveling in summer with my best friend Niklas. We always search for cheap tickets with bus and train and take them. It's really cool that we have such a deep bound.
Niklas and I also go in trips with our bicyles on relatively long trips.
As I love nature snowboarding brings a lot of great views 🗻 which I like, besides the fact that the sport is super cool. However, I have not been snowboarding in years.
I love to play board games.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste of music changes a lot from time to time. I used to listen to hip hop a lot. But in recent times I also like rock music. But most important is that whatever music I am listening to has a text which raises an issue or tells a good story.
The same can be said about books and movies. I like to have interesting and as well political issues.
I am currently running two reading circles.
My list of recommended books:
- The holy Bible (of course)
- Exit Racism from Tupoka Ogette (you can find it on Spotify -- however in German)
- Steps to Christ
- The Desire of Ages
- The Richest Caveman
- The Great Controversy
- The Why Café
