I am originally from the south-west of England, near to Bath and Bristol, but have been living in Utrecht, the Netherlands, for 1.5 years. I originally came for my Master's program in International Relations. But am now working as a copywriter at Eurail/Interrail, creating content for their website, blog and eMagazine. It's pretty much the perfect job for me because I live to travel and have so far been to 36 countries.
My other interests include indie-electronic music, TV/cinema, swimming and roller-skating.
I also love coffee and worked as a Costa barista during my gap year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In late 2019 I used Couchsurfing when I travelled around Scandinavia for a month, because I wanted to see the region from the eyes of a local. It was such a great expierence, especially being welcomed into people's cosy homes at Christmas time and learning about their towns and countries!

Now I would like to welcome people to my town, the beautiful Dutch city of Utrecht! Although I work for a travel company, I don't get to travel much for most of the year, so would love to be able to bring the world to my house (cliché, but it's true) by hosting people from around the world.
