Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first did couchsurfing during a congress in Porrentruy, a godforsaken city of Switzerland. I must confess that the prohibiting prices of the Swiss hotels, even in this remoted region, were part of the decision to try Couchsurfing. By doing so I met a nice guy who shared a beer with me, listened my talk (and heaven knows how boring a scientific talk could be for someone not on the field) and offered me a confortable couch instead of vegging out on my computer alone in my cosy hotel room.
Sincethen I sometimes do it when I'm out travelling.
