ABOUT ME

At last I am a FREE man. I am retired and life is a joy. I have all the time in the world to do what I always wanted to. I grew up in Cape Town and decided to retire 20 years ago to be able to enjoy a relaxed life while I am still young enough to do the things I always wanted to. I love the sea and beaches and the mountains.
I know Table Mountain quite well and I am always game for a hike.
I like the company of friendly, funny, interesting people with a love of hiking.
I usually travel with a backpack. Last trips to Papua, Indonesia, Mauritius and France.

Books by: Yuval Noah Harari (Sapiens), Joseph Conrad, W Somerset Maugham, Bill Bryson, John Steinbeck, Roald Dahl and the likes.
