My Mission? I think at this point in my life its to see the world before I settle down, I plan on working in the parks someday but for now I need to travel and meet people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan on traveling locally for the time being, hopefully staying on some couches in my travels. I'm hoping that Ill be able to host someone sometime, but I don't know who would want come out to this town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havent had anyone through CS yet, but on my way out to California from Florida, I got stranded the First night in New Orleans, LA. It was only about two weeks after the hurricane had hit the town, so all the hotels and campgrounds were booked withing about 400 miles, which I didn't realize until about 11 o'clock after a 10 hour day of driving. I called up a Buddy of mine in my hometown who is a Marine, and he called a friend of his who lived in New Orleans, who happily put me up on his couch. I heard about this site after that and I can't wait to crash some more and host some travelers.

Interests

I love Music, I played the Bass when I was younger but then switched to guitar, which I dont get to play as much as I like but I still love it. I like Everything that has to do with the outside, hiking, surfing, skiing, sports, trees, grass, everything!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Music. So. Much. Every Genre has its gems and its crap, but mainly I enjoy 90's Alternative Rock and Classic Rock. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Shinedown, Florence and the Machine, MGMT... this list could go on forever.
Movies are also a huge list, Favorites include Fight Club, Airplane, Shutter Island, Inception, anything with Will ferall really, etc etc
Books? I wish I read more, but favorites currently would probably be Into The Wild, Paradise Alley, and the Game of Thrones Series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled as a kid around the country with my family, but I was too young to really appreciate what I was seeing. One cool thing I saw recently was the Graffiti in Las Angeles. I walked from union square to a hostel on hollywood blvd, and some of the art was just sublime.
