PHILOSOPHY

Hmmmmmmmmm....I don't believe in monogamy. We'd be foolish to think that we should only be "connected" to one person for our entire "romantic" life. (Don't think you're going to come here and act up. Not happening.)

I also think you should give without ANY thoughts on what you'll get out of it. You never know how God is keeping count. You could short yourself by demanding an immediate return.

I think you should have a bucket list NOW. Why wait until the diagnosis? Do all the things in your life you want to and DON'T procrastinate! If you start to act on them, they will start to unfold for you.

If you use: children, spous, education, lack of education, experience or anything else that is ridiculous as an excuse...toss all that out and just go for it! The worse thing is regret!

I never want to say "I shoulda..." Even if your idea, project,or plan fails, you 1-wouldn't have know if you didn't try and 2-will have learned what won't work so you can do it right the next time or the 438,965 time.

Nothing beats a failure but a try.

Boom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am here to help other artists move about the country while providing them essentials like...say...privacy!...a door!...clean sheets, bathroom and a laundry room if needed.

I'm periodically inclined to throw in some fresh food. If I'm in a good mood, I'll add healthy things needed for vocal cords, blood flow so the artist doesn't pass out on stage like fruits and vegetables and tea.

Being a full time artist, I know how much of a relief it is when you can sleep peacefully and not have to worry about falling off the couch, sleeping naked and screaming kids in the wee hours.

I've found the better an artist rests, the better they perform.

My commitment is to the traveling artist. One that has an open heart and wants to kick it, network and help each other move throughout this earth.

Period.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've actually only had one couch surfer at the house and I learned so much with her one visit! I learned about what I wanted to do, how far I was willing to go, and how much I was willing to give.

That was important for me because I hate when folk say they want to "help" then half-ass do it or do it with a scowl.

She was great, actually. Funny and even though, there was a *slight* language barrier she caught on to my dry humor and fit right in!

I'm looking forward to having more surfers! I'm a little leary about finding them, just yet but I'm on the road often and may just have to get over it!

Move with the CHEESE!

Music, Movies, and Books

Autobiographies-I'm nosey. Either that or other people's lives inspire mine.
I like a little or a lot of all genres. No, really. My parents used to blast Bach and Mozart out of the car windows when I was little! OMG! But now I blast what-eva-the bleep I want! It's fun!

I'm not going to lie and say I love every single thing every genre has to offer. Right now this supposed Hip-Hop is on my nerves.

What's funny is that my parents were/are big alternative rock fans and that's what I really grew up on. Now that it's a "new" movement I really feel like I fit in here. Try proving to your peers you're not on the bandwagon. Good luck with that.

I even have a little, not a lot, but a little classical and death metal on my iPod. You gotta mix it up, you know?

I listen to everything from Kings of Leon (I love them!!!) to folk music.

Movies -I love suspense thrillers. Not into gore much. "Saw" makes me feel weird. I love 50 First Dates. It makes me cry every time. I love murder mysteries. I try and figure it out before the end.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow. You might have to wait for the book. Geez. Yeah, a lot.

I can't teach you *how* to write but I can give you hella exercises that will help you.
